Hue Tap Dial Switch

The Hue Tap Dial Switch is a rotary switch from Philips with additional four buttons. Typically, the rotary switch is used to control the brightness of rooms and the four buttons to turn the lights in the room on and off and to recall saved scenes or other settings. In "all 4 hue" the buttons in the middle of the rotary switch appear as a separate entry in the accessories list, i.e. the Hue Tap Dial Switch will be visible as a Hue switch and as a Hue rotary switch in the accessories list. Both elements, i.e. the rotary switch and the button, can be configured independently of one another.

The functions of the Hue Tap Dial Switch, i.e. the reaction to rotation (e.g. to change brightness of a group of lights), are not made in the settings of the Hue rotary switch, but by creating corresponding rules.
